Hmmmm, Outdoor Shower Enclosures

What are the uses for outdoor shower enclosures?

One of the practical uses of outdoor shower enclosures is so that your kids and their friends do not have to track sand and dirt through the house from their outdoor excursions. It is probably pretty frustrating for you to have to clean up after your kids when they come back from the beach with their friends.   Sand gets everywhere. It gets on the carpets, In between the couch covers, and all over the bathroom floor.  It is so much easier to install a vinyl shower stall outside where everyone can wash up and change before they come into the house.   Other uses for outdoor showers are for decorative purposes or as a luxury item.  Many private mansions install outdoor showers because it helps the owners feel free and in touch with nature.

What styles are there for outdoor shower stalls?

Most outdoor shower stalls are found near swimming pools so you can rinse off after a swim or walk.  These showers are not typically enclosed, since swimmers are already wet and only need to rinse the chlorine off their bodies.  There are two main kinds of shower enclosures.  Enclosures are completely closed off for privacy and protection.  One is portable and can be hooked up to a water supply or pipe system.  These are great to use in camping trips or hunting adventures.   The other kind is enclosed but not portable.   These require installation in a property.  They are called fixed outdoor shower stalls and are handy to have outside the house.

Fixed shower enclosures are commonly found in gardens or back gardens of hotels and resorts.  They can be made of wood, steel, vinyl, or sometimes glass.  While glass defeats the purpose of privacy, it does offer protection from rain, wind, dust, etc.  Some people enjoy showering in the beauty of their back garden.  For houses that enjoy a good deal of privacy from neighbors – houses with large trees or tall hedges- this is a nice option, as it allows you to enjoy a complete level of freedom for yourself and nature with outdoor shower enclosures.
